MEASURED IMPACT

WE CAPTURED THE IMPACT OF THE KOOL NERD MOVEMENT [SPEAKING ENGAGEMENT + COLLEGE WORKSHOP] THROUGH A PRE AND POST SURVEY TO MIDDLE SCHOOL AND OR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ON OUR TOUR.

 

WITH A 78% FULL PARTICIPATION, THE PRE & POST SURVEY RESULTS DEMONSTRATED THAT WE NOT ONLY POSITIVELY IMPACTED THE STUDENTS' THINKING TO APPLYING THEIR PASSION TO A CAREER BUT ALSO THEIR VIEWPOINT TOWARDS TECHNOLOGY COMPANIES [MICROSOFT].

RATIONALE: WE NEEDED A BREAKDOWN OF THE STUDENTS AND THEIR AREAS OF INTEREST. 

RESULT: CREATIVE [ARTISTIC] STUDENTS ARE A HIGH PERCENT OF THE STUDENT BODY. WE ACTIVELY PROMOTE S.T.E.A.M. TO ENCOURAGE THEM TO PURSUE OPPORTUNITIES WITH S.T.E.M COMPANIES

RATIONALE: THE STUDENTS ARE NOT PUTTING A CLEAR CONNECTION AS TO WHY S.TE.M. IS BEING PUSHED IN SCHOOLS.

RESULT: STUDENTS CONSIDERABLY SHIFTED THEIR OPINIONS ON WHETHER A CAREER IN STEM COULD PROVIDE GOOD JOBS.          [PRE 64% VS POST 81%]

RATIONALE: WITH STUDIES SHOWING THAT 7 OUT OF 10 AMERICANS DISLIKE THEIR JOBS, WE ENCOURAGE STUDENTS TO EXPLORE WAYS TO PURSUE  A CAREER BASED ON THEIR PASSION [HOBBY]. 

RESULT: THE STUDENTS CHANGED THEIR VIEWS ON THEIR ABILITY TO TURN THEIR HOBBY INTO A JOB.                              [PRE 66% VS POST 86%]

RATIONALE: MANY OF OUR CHILDREN ARE NOT EXPOSED TO A VARIETY OF STEM-BASED CAREER FIELDS. THEY ARE UNAWARE OF THE OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE IN CORPORATIONS.

RESULT: WITH ENGAGEMENT WITH THE CORPORATION, THE STUDENTS LEARNED OF POSITIONS AVAILABLE THAT WILL MATCH THEIR AREAS OF PASSION [HOBBY].  [PRE 38% VS POST 52%]
